El Coronado Reservation/Hotel Policies:

RESERVATIONS:

To ensure the confirmation of your reservation a deposit equivalent to the 1st night's unit rental rate is required to confirm reservations.

Unit Types (H, F, and All E', EE, EEE):

For unit types H, F, and all E's, a deposit of 2 nights' rental rate is required to confirm the reservation.

Reservation lasting more than 10 days requires a deposit equal to the 1st three nights stay.

 

Packages:

(PACKAGES:  $150 non-refundable for 2 & 3-night packages, $250 for 4 & 5-night packages). Additional payments made prior to check-in must be mailed to resort address in the form of a check (only FULL payments in the amount of total reservation balance; no partial or incremental payments accepted).

Balance due upon arrival in cash or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover only) – no personal checks. Reservation deposits are non-transferrable &  apply to the last night of stay. No refunds due to inclement weather or early departure. All reservations are subject to applicable taxes and/or & service fees as required & contracted by the condo-unit registrant. 

Children 11 & under stay free with occupying adults (excludes packages where package increments are reserved). El Coronado does its best to provide our guests with the accommodations they prefer; however, we CANNOT guarantee specific room numbers or floor levels. For security reasons and the comfort of all our guests, visitors or unregistered guests are not permitted above the Lobby Level. No one is permitted within the pool area without a wristband.

All rates, advertised or otherwise, are subject to change without notice.  Three-night or longer minimum stays are required at different times throughout condo opening times.  Room rates include a base number of adults as advertised.  Each additional guest (12 & up) over the base will be charged $20.00 daily plus any applicable tax/service fee (excludes packages).

CANCELLATION POLICY:

For reservation cancellations, unit type downgrade, reservation date reductions, or moved reservations occurring three (3) weeks (21 days) OUTSIDE of the reserved arrival date, the initial deposit will be subject to 25% forfeit.

For reservation cancellations, unit type downgrade, reservation date reductions, or moved reservations made WITHIN 3 weeks (21 days) of reserved arrival date, the initial deposit will be subject to full forfeit. Dates of stay may not be reduced upon check-in without full forfeiture of the initial deposit. Reservations for National Holidays require thirty (30) day notice of cancellation and are subject to full forfeit.

CHECK-IN:

Each registered guest must present a photo ID matching credit card at check-in (must be at least 25 to register). All reservations are required to have a credit card on file. Reserved condo units are held until 6:00 PM on arrival date & cancelled unless “late arrival” is reserved with the hotel. Upon any such occurrence, the reservation will be deemed a “no show,” with the unit available for sale and the deposit forfeited.

Check-in time after 3:30 PM daily after condo units are cleared by Housekeeping Dept (please present hotel confirmation on arrival).

CHECK-OUT:

Check-out must occur BEFORE 10:00 AM. The hotel cannot be held responsible for any occupying guests’ failure to depart your reserved unit.

Late check-out will be billed to guests’ accounts in the amount of one half (1/2) the current hotel daily rack rate up to 1:00PM and the current day’s full rack rate thereafter.

PARKING:

On-site FREE parking at the hotel is limited to one vehicle per unit for the reservation timeframe.  Parking is at the vehicle owner’s sole risk as the hotel assumes no responsibility or liability for any damages incurred to any guest vehicle (or its contents) while parked on hotel premises.  All cars without parking tags or not parked properly are subject to booting and/or towing fees.

SMOKING/PET POLICY:

Entire facility is SMOKE & PET FREE.  Any in-unit smoking “of any kind” detected by hotel personnel during your stay or any pet brought into the hotel will result in a $250.00 cleaning surcharge fee as contracted at the time of reservation and /or registration.

Hotel policy does not permit pets of any kind in our units except for recognized “service dogs” with permits.

PACKAGES (additional): 

All package rates are based on double occupancy in unit types D, D2, and GN only. Additional person charge applies above double occupancy. For an upgraded unit type, a daily surcharge will apply. For additional persons over 2, a rate surcharge will apply.  Any Taxes, service fees & gratuities are additional.  Advance reservations are required & availability is limited. No ticket substitutions or exchanges are permitted. Package inclusions are subject to change based on availability & the hotel cannot be held responsible for the availability of specific restaurants or activities.  The hotel reserves the right to change, cancel or sell out packages without notice.  

  • MIDWEEK PACKAGES apply to midweek days only (Sun-Thurs) unless otherwise advertised. Select dates available in May, June & September only – excludes National Holidays and subject to sell-out. Included meals may be off-site.

  • WEEKEND GETAWAY PACKAGES apply to 2-night reservations on Friday & Saturday nights only, with a Sunday check-out. Included cabanas are first-come, first-serve and must be reserved via phone with El Coronado’s reservation staff.

AMENITIES:

Fiesta Room rental fees are per 6-hour block (tax inclusive) & subject to change without notice.  Call for space availability & reservations.

Poolside and sundeck Cabana rentals are available in advance with non-refundable reservations.
